The main room of the shoe factory is filled with men, and some women, working hard to make a small living. The employees are paid based on each shoe they make.
Don Pablo and his sons work here together daily. One of his sons, Emanuel, is his apprentice. He is 14 years old.
Don Pablo's other son, Carlos, is putting some adhesive on the soles before they are attached to the bottom of the shoe. Carlos is 15 years old.
